Mackenzie Killam

Biography: Mackenzie Killam’s practice includes assisting clients with Probate, Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Business formation needs. With a combination of experience and compassion, she advocates for the things and people that matter most to each of her clients and seeks to ease their burdens during a time of loss. Prior to joining Ruais Law, Mackenzie worked in Birmingham, Alabama doing Probate with 5 Points Law Group and in Dallas, Texas practicing Real Estate with the Dallas Housing Authority. She received her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she received a full tuition scholarship and served on the Executive Board of the Student Government Association and as a Chief Justice on the Trial Advocacy Board. She won the Henry C. Strickland Negotiation Competition and received the Scholar of Merit for both Real Estate and Administration of Wills and Trusts. Mackenzie earned a B.A. in Communication, with Honors, and a minor in Business from Texas A&M University, cum laude. In her free time, you will find her serving at CityBridge Community Church, coaching Mock Trial, traveling, or working with Social Venture Partners as a 2022 Dana Juett Resident.
